This Overlanding/Car Camping /Camping site is an amazing place surrounded by mountains with typical Himalayan landscape with green jungle. For inexperienced camping travelers it would be life time memory under open meadows with temperature dipping below. It’s just at the lap of Barlacha la pass. Sarchu is the border of Himachal and Newly made Ladakh. Altitude is 4300meters approx. Very cold, dry, and windy. Beautiful place to stay but weather conditions are harsh. Camping at 14000 feet is not easy. Difficult to breathe, due to less oxygen you may have headache. Difficult to sleep and temperature also dips.
